Blair duQuesnay, CFA®, CFP® is an investment advisor at Ritholtz Wealth Management, LLC. She works with the firm’s clients to create sustainable financial plans and investment strategies. Blair focuses on working with women, particularly women who are breadwinners for their family and women who are alone through either divorce or the death of a spouse. Blair also has a specialization in working with younger clients who are Gen X or Millennials.
Blair is the author of the New York Times opinion piece, "Consider Firing Your Male Broker". She is dedicated to increasing the number of women who enter the financial advice profession.
Blair is a frequent speaker and panelist at financial service events and conferences. She has moderated the CFA Wealth Management Conference twice. She spoke about client-oriented advisory practices at the Annual CFA Conference in 2017 in Philadelphia. Blair participated in a panel about the future of the investment profession with Don Phillips and Bill Bernstein at the 2016 Morningstar Investor Conference.
In 2017, Blair was given the Millennial Award for Financial Services in her hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. Blair was named to the 2015 Investment News "40 Under 40" list of top advisors and associated professionals in the financial planning industry. In 2016, Blair was named by local New Orleans’ publication The Gambit as a 40 Under 40 honoree.
Blair is a Past President of the CFA Society of Louisiana where she continues to serve on the board.
Blair and her husband Henry live in uptown New Orleans with their young son. She begins most mornings with an ashtanga yoga practice.
