Dennis is the Head of Responsible Investing at Veriti Management and assists clients in creating portfolios that make sense for them, given their individual preference factors. These factors include faith-based, corporate environmental, social, or governance (ESG) based, or UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) based. Dennis’s focus is to help each client find the optimal blend of financial and personal return from their portfolios, given the level of risk with which they are comfortable.
Dennis grew Hammond Associates over a period of nearly 30 years into one of the country’s largest consulting firms specializing in endowments and foundations. As CEO, he helped clients conceptualize their investment needs and integrate them with their asset allocation and manager population in their portfolios. Dennis has his Masters of Law (LLM) in Tax from Washington University Law School, his Law degree (JD) from Villanova University Law School, and his BA (English) from the University of Kansas.
Dennis is founder of the SandPointe Foundation, which serves the needs of the severely disadvantaged in Haiti. He also serves on the board of the New Life Children’s Home in Port au Prince, Haiti. Dennis and Shelia have been married 44 years, have two wonderful married sons, and (unfortunately) only one granddaughter, Binny. They live in West Palm Beach, Florida, where Dennis plays tennis early each morning, weather permitting.
