Bio

Francois E. Aubert is a management consultant, speaker, trainer, lecturer (Trinity College Dublin) and business coach, working with companies, families and individuals in over 50 countries. He is also a long time volunteer for several organisations (as a board member or a chairman). His extensive knowledge of the financial world, and more particularly private banking and customer relationship management, comes from 30 years in the business and from working with an array of senior managers from all around the world he has advised, trained and/or coached.

He holds an MBA from the Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh and is a Certified Financial Analyst and Portfolio Manager (CEFA), CAIA charter-holder, TEP (Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner), Chartered MCSI, Certified Trainer and Certified Business Coach. He is also trained as NLP trainer and accredited to use Belbin, Social Style and other highly recognised instruments.

From Private Banking to Family Office.

Private Banking, or Private Wealth Management, offers a full range of services for wealthy individuals ("High Net Worth Individuals"), to help them in our increasingly complex world. But this is often not enough to address the problems of Ultra High Net Worth Individuals. Since this market segment represent 1/3 of the HNWI's wealth, Family Office service providers emerge in many countries around the world.
This speech will address the main differences between the two markets' segments, with a focus on the needs of UHNWIs, the services required and how to structure such a Family Office.

The Impact of Digitalisation on Your Clients

We will look at the latest developments linked to digitalisation, particularly in the field of value-added services to clients and members. We will then analyse how clients’ and consumers’ expectations are impacted, what their new expectations are, and how to meet them. We will also explore future developments and their impacts. Finally, we will look into a possible to-do list, allowing each participant to have practical and relevant takeaways.

The New Paradigms of the Private Wealth Management Industry

Few industries have been through several deep changes in a relative short term. The Private Wealth Management (aka Private Banking) business model relies now on a new set of pillars:
- The digitalisation has now to be incorporated in the client relationship model
- International rules, particularly the Automatic Exchange Of Information
- Lower margins for banks
